About Me
Cassia is an actor, writer, and director was born and raised between Georgia, Texas, and Tennessee. She migrated to Missouri to complete her B.F.A. in Acting at Webster University’s Conservatory, and has since made a home in Brooklyn, New York. When she is not creatively engaged, Cassia enjoys apprenticing at her local community garden, taking recreational dance classes, and traveling.
ACTOR: AEA member. Stage credits include Bright Horizons Theatre, The Old Globe (where she appeared in the world premiere of Henry 6, adapted by Artistic Director Barry Edelstein, as Joan La Pucelle), Alabama Shakespeare Festival, American Players Theatre, Syracuse Stage, Indiana Repertory Theatre, Shakespeare Festival St. Louis, Bay Street Theatre, Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, Shakespeare Theatre Company, and Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival. She has also appeared in several short films including DICKMORPHIA (NYU Student Short Film), THE FOOL (2019), and BROOKLYN LIGHTS (2024) written, directed, and produced by Andre’ Joseph.
PLAYWRIGHT: Cassia premiered her original ten minute play, Don’t. F*ck. This. Up.” in June 2025 at Dixon Place as part of their annual Black Artists Matter showcase. This play and other works are in development. The trailer can be viewed here.
DIRECTOR: Cassia is currently directing the world premiere of Blackout Cocktails written by Arif Silverman and produced by Thirdwing Theatre. The play will have it’s premiere late November 2025 at the Wild Project.
